WHY CHOOSE EEC

We specialize in endoscopies and colonoscopies.  That means our staff can focus on performing your procedure in a dignified and efficient environment.  You do not need to go to a hospital and report to different departments, often resulting in delays.

Our facility was designed for the endoscopy patient.  That means comfort and privacy for you and your family.

You will receive personalized instructions and copy of your procedure report prior to leaving our facility.  We also will mail out a report to your referring doctor the same day.

We have received accreditation from AAASF.  We are proud of this accreditation and the commitment to high performance standards that it represents.

Our clinical staff has Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training.

Our focus is low risk patients.  Your physician can provide safe, efficient care, focusing on the scheduled patients without the need to break for unscheduled emergency patients.

We have state-of-the art equipment for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

All our dedicated physicians are certified and their credentials reviewed on a regular basis.

What can I Expect?

When you schedule your procedure one of our friendly office staff will review some questions that will help us plan your visit.  You will be given complete instructions and required paperwork for your review.  Should you have any questions regarding these instructions please call our office.

For your safety, you must have a responsible adult escort you from our office and accompany you home after receiving sedation.

Both colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy require the bowel be cleansed prior to procedure.  You will receive specific instructions regarding this preparation.  It is important that you carefully adhere to these instructions in order for your procedure to be performed successfully.

When you check-in the day of your procedure, please bring your copayment, if it applies.  You will be asked to review your personal information to make sure everything is correct.

A member of the clinical staff will take you to the pre-procedure room, place an intravenous catheter, take your blood pressure and help you prepare for your procedure

You will be wheeled to the procedure room on your stretcher bed.  There will be a Technician and a Registed Nurse in the procedure room to assist the physician
